Industry is part of our acronym: Manufacture Industrielle Lyonnaise de Surpresseurs. Designer of automobile engines in the 1910s, through the piston compressor and vane vacuum pumps, we are more than ever a mechanical industry which adapts modern technology to vacuum.
MIL’S, a French manufacturer since 1926, is a family SME that is entirely autonomous in its manufacturing process of pumps and vacuum units, air units and oxygen generators dedicated to the many professions in Health and Industry. Over the years, MIL’S has been able to develop on a national and international scale to establish its notoriety in the markets in which the company is present. More than a hundred employees participate in the development of different sectors of activity. In addition to staff located throughout France, MIL’S relies on a very diversified export sales network to promote its equipment in strategic geographic areas. In order to ensure proximity and availability, MIL’S has developed a network of distributors and installers. Our after-sales service technicians travel all over the world to support you so that you can benefit from optimal comfort of use of our equipment.
Our production units are located in Genas, on the outskirts of Lyon and consist of two centers with a total surface area of 12,500 m²: – a center integrating machining, boilermaking and pump assembly – a center dedicated to the assembly of industrial and medical systems This organization allows MIL’S to be independent and to have complete control over the manufacturing of its equipment. In response to growing demand, production tools are renewed, the machine park is equipped with the latest technologies in terms of machining to produce in larger quantities and minimize manufacturing times.

Present in the Health and Industry sectors, MIL’S has embarked on a certification process to be able to distribute its products. Concerned about producing quality, environmentally friendly equipment, MIL’S is also committed to voluntary initiatives to respect standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001. Thus, the company follows manufacturing procedures which go beyond current regulations. Our equipment is also CE marked, so it meets current European regulations regarding medical devices. This certification allows us to meet the high level of safety and performance required in this area.
Our different vacuum pump technologies, lubricated or dry, whether vane, nozzle, piston, screw or liquid ring, make it possible to meet all needs in many sectors. With its own design office, MIL’S is able to offer you a personalized solution according to your application and your constraints.
To improve your experience with our products, we offer a wide range of services that will allow you to have technical mastery of our equipment and its environment with appropriate training. Our maintenance solutions preserve the performance of our machines throughout their lifespan, which will be extended thanks to periodic maintenance, just like a vehicle. In the event of equipment breakdown, we offer you various repair options, in the factory or on site, so as not to penalize your production.
